START SAVING UP MONEY IN A PARADISE FALLS JAR (THE EASY WAY!)
We've all seen the cute movie Up, right? Well today, we're going to start our own Paradise Falls jar! We've already shown you how those small $5 and $10 purchases can add up. For some people, it's easy to spend that much on random items. But instead of spending that money, we're going to save it! Here's a few examples of how to do it:
- The next time you're at the store, put back those impulse buys and get $5 or $10 in cash back to put in a physical savings jar.
- Don't do cash? No worries! Move that money saved from your checking account to your savings account online.
- Use an app like Acorns and it'll automatically take the “change” from your purchase and move it to your savings account!
- Do a money saving challenge to really grow your slush fund account!
Add a few bucks to your jar each week, and you'll reach your goal in no time! Just remember, don't touch that money until you're spending it on something you've been planning to spend it on. It's more fun that way!
