How to speed clean your house! (plus a deep-cleaning daily printable!)

Great tips for speed-cleaning your house, plus a daily deep-cleaning printable! SO EASY!

With summer coming to a close *bursts into ugly sobs* efficiency has been on the brain. I've been slowly trying (try being the key word here…) to ease back into reality (aka a schedule of any form or function) as we inch back to school. I've been trying to focus on being more purposeful with my minutes, and to find little 5, 10, and 15 minute pockets in my day to get stuff done.

I find myself falling into the trap of thinking “I need to clean my house on Saturday”, envisioning having hours on end to scrub my house from top to bottom.

Yeah. Sniffing. Right.

It's hard to find one hour, let along 5 hours to clean! Instead, I have been focusing more on SPEED CLEANING, and it's been amazing! By taking just 5, 10, or 20 minutes to clean a room, I get more done, I don't feel like it's a hopeless task, and it helps me stay on top of the messes. The deep cleaning comes in time as well (see my list below!).

But trust me, you are NOT slacking if you speed clean. In fact, you are a boss if you do. A speed cleaning boss. Of the universe.

Today I'm going to show you how I speed clean my kitchen and main living space (the messiest spots in my house!) as well as bedrooms.

First up, the bedroom. Watch the video online or click and watch below:

See? Not too bad! All it takes is 10-15 minutes to clean a room quickly. Maybe you won't finish the job completely, but that's ok! Leave, go do something else, and come back to finish the next time you get 10 minutes.

Now, let's speed clean the kitchen and main living areas!

How I speed clean my kitchen!

Please tell me I'm not the only one whose house looks like it's been ransacked ALL. THE. TIME…

Now, time for the deep cleaning!

I have found the best way to do it is to chip away at it each day. Here are some of my most popular cleaning posts to help!
