THE MOST AMAZING CRANBERRY CREAM CHEESE DIP
Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this delicious cranberry salsa appetizer! Following are a few tips that will help to keep you on track and use what you have in your kitchen.
NOTES TO HELP YOU MAKE THE BEST DIP
The ingredients call for a package of fresh cranberries. There is no cooking involved for this cranberry cream cheese dip! If you buy cranberries when they're on sale and stick them in your freezer, just make sure that they've had plenty of time to thaw before you're ready to make this recipe.
You can use a good ole knife and cutting board to prepare the salsa portion of this dip, but my favorite way to do this is to use my food processor. It makes it so much easier and is a lot quicker, too!
The recipe calls for 1-2 jalapenos without seeds – choose the amount based on how spicy you want it. When we're making it for adults, we usually go for 2 jalapenos. But if we know our kids are going to eat it, we go down to one jalapeno so that it's not too spicy for them.
Cranberry cream cheese dip calls for lemon juice, but you can definitely substitute orange juice if that's what you have on hand. It will still taste just as delicious! I've left out the green onions and cumin before and it was still amazing. Be playful with it! Dont concentrate too much on measurements. I basically eyeball it every time and its never disappointed me.
You can serve the dip as soon as you make it, but I would definitely recommend letting it sit in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors meld. You won't be disappointed!
