As I mentioned in previous posts (and on Instagram) I'm working on THRIVING this year (#ThriveIn15). It's about working smarter, not harder. It's about soaking up every minute of every day, not trying to merely survive every day.
Part of thriving this year is becoming consistent at blogging again. If I had it my way, I would blog every day. All day. I would eat my computer, I love it so much! But at the end of the day my family comes first. (I mean, they are all pretty cute so can you blame me??) But I think I know how to get the best of both worlds.
I am now accepting out loud that I can't get a post out every day (waaaaah!). Instead of being sporadic with posting and always feeling guilty about going so long in between posts you can mark your calendars, tie a string around your finger, and set your cuckoo clock because…
You will now see consistent posts every Tuesday and Thursday!
I'm also planning to do:
- At least 2 videos per month
- At least 2 live Q&A's per month (which may or may not be part of the video quota above)
- At least 1 live in-person event
- More giveaways (even though I have mixed feelings about them, but hey! You asked for it!)
With that being said, YOU are the reason I'm doing all of this!

Summers tend to slow down a bit around here (since we're all outside playing, right?!) but I'm still going to try to keep up the momentum. Thanks for bearing with me as I figure out this whole “stay at home mom while still working kinda” thing.
