Happy Wednesday, Freebs!
You may or may not know, but every-other Wednesday I put a new YouTube video up on a channel I contribute for called Millennial Moms. I share parenting advice, beauty tips, cleaning and organizing ideas, frugal living hacks, and much more. Check out my playlist of videos to catch up up. There are some goodies in there, I promise! (And then subscribe to my own channel while you're at it…wink wink nudge nudge…)
Today's video is one y'all have been asking for for a while now…
How to Contour (and Highlight)!
I'm no beauty guru. Not even close. But I love makeup and like feeling put together. Plus, in doing as many TV segments as I have, I've had to learn how to make my mug look as polished as possible. Today I thought I'd teach you HOW to contour and highlight (without taking 800 hours to do it…), and WHAT my favorite products are!
So without further adieu, here's my tutorial!
Watch the video online or click and watch below:
Not too hard, right??
Here are the products I used in this video:
REMINDER! Don't buy any products online until you sign up for Ebates!! I've talked about it a million times. It's a FREE site that pays you cash back for your online purchases! Stores like Ulta and Sephora partner with ebates too, so don't spend a dime until you sign up. REMEMBER! You’ll get a $10 Welcome Bonus after you join for free with THIS LINK and place your first purchase of $25 or more. Once you sign up you get your own link that you can share with others, just like how I'm sharing my link with you! You get paid, they get paid, it's genius.
Ok! Now on with the products…
- NYX Wonder Stick
- Tartiest Pro Glo Highlight and Contour palette
- Lorac Pro Contour Palette (note! This is $45 new, but I've seen these for cheaper at Nordstrom Rack)
- Bronzer (you can use your favorite kind! I had a gift card so I bought Hoola bronzer. I don't think it's any better than more affordable stuff, but that's just my opinion.)
Note: I have also seen (and used) inexpensive contouring products at TJ Maxx and daily deal sites like Jane.com so check there too!
My other beauty tutorials:
Here are some other looks you might have missed…

Hope that helps you see that makeup doesn't have to be too complicated! Are there any other beauty videos you'd like to see from me? Let me know in the comments below.
