This lamp was really easy to put together (which was a huge bonus) and would look great in a number of room styles. Whether a gift for yourself or for someone you love, wouldn't this be great to have for Christmas??

Photo bomb credit: #PoorChubbyOllie. Pssst…see how we framed our guitars for $5. Oh and yes, we have, in fact, started decorating for Christmas already. Hey, baby girl is coming is 12 days or less, if we don't do it now it won't get done, ok?!

If there's one thing we've learned, lighting can make a HUGE difference in a room. I am a bit of an overhead light hater. I HATE turning our ceiling can lights on. I much prefer lamps, so we tend to have them all over. The only problem? Quality lamps can be quite an investment! Lucky for you, entering to win this fabulous lamp is easy!

    Hi Jordan!
I love your lamp! But I couldn’t help but seeing your BEAUTIFUL piano also! I’m wondering if you have any frugal tips on buying pianos for kids (or any other musical instruments when they’re toddler age.) Thanks!

Thanks! We lucked out on the piano…We bought it online from the classifieds, we randomly found someone who was moving out of state and didn’t want to move it. It was $600 which was right in the price-point for what we were looking for (a new-looking upright piano in good condition). My tip? Definitely go used! It gets trashed by the kids, and especially trashed if you move…so no need to buy new. They work great for decades.

I also have an aversion to overhead lights… back in college I think my roommate got tired of me always asking to switch to our big lamp when I got home… oops. 🙂
