MEET THE SAHM WHO PAID OFF $15K OF DEBT IN 13 MONTHS AND NOW LIVES IN HER DREAM HOME

Recently I got a call from a woman named Chaunie at Babble (a massive website owned by Disney), asking if I'd do an interview for an article she was writing. I like Babble because, since it's a Disney site, it stays PG-rated and I trust that they won't twist my words to make it some edgy, off-color article. As entertaining as that would be for everyone.

Anywho,

I did the interview then went about my Holiday business, not giving it a second thought. Then, wouldn't you know, you Freebs told me on Facebook that Studio 5 mentioned on-air that there was an article on Babble about moi. Hey thanks, Studio 5! At first, my heart jumped (never a good sign when there is an unexpected article about you floating around the internet…). I sprinted to my computer to check it out, and breathed a sigh of relief, with an “oooooooh yeah, I totally did an interview for this” recollection.

Chaunie did a great job with the article. It's not easy to keep facts straight when someone like me talks a mile a minute, and she got everything pretty dang close! So I thought I'd share it here so you could check it out for yourself! It talks about our FD (Financial Disaster), how we came out of a mountain of credit card debt, and many of my philosophies about budgeting and saving money…even though I'm innately bad at it, and fairly disinterested in it. It talks about where we are now, and how we managed to snag our 8,600 sq foot dream home…

…and don't even feel guilty about it.

Basically, it's a perfect start to our Focus on Finances month as part of my FREE Focused in '17: Best Year EVER program. Let's see how many shameless plugs I can squeeze into one post, shall we?

Truth be told: I was a little flustered by the fact that the article was all about us, not going to lie. I get interviewed for articles all the time, but usually it's me giving my advice, along with a few other experts. I guess I hadn't concentrated on the purpose of the article, and it still feels a little weird. So just picture me blushing and being fairly awkward while you read it, mmkay?

Enough blabbing.

Though I truly adore blabbing. (Boy, blogging my way feels good again!)

Check out the article, and for those who are interested, use the code FCFBLOG to get an extra 10% off my Budget Boot Camp online program, to learn EXACTLY not only how we got out of debt and manage our money, but we help you implement it into your own financial situation as well!

OH! and Don't forget that my Budget Boot Camp '17 conference is coming up on January 14. You can attend in-person if you're in Utah, or watch online. OH! And don't forget to sign up for my FREE Focused in '17: Best Year EVER program. Totally free, you'd be crazy not to.

Ok I'm done! Enjoy the article and have a great day!
