Happy Friday, friends! Kerianne here, and I don’t know about you, but I wish I could live in this fall weather every single day! Autumn leaves, crisp air, and pumpkins all around… there’s nothing better! Today I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to ring in the spooky season.. with a BOO!
Lets get to it! Click below to get the details, and your own BOOED Printable!
Putting together something for your neighbors doesn’t have to be expensive, or time consuming (I’m all about keeping things easy!). This morning after I dropped my kiddo off at school, I headed to my favorite place for affordable and adorable things… TARGET!
The dollar bins at Target call to me like a kid in a candy store, and you better believe I answer the call running! I found these cute Halloween buckets there for $1 – they came in several styles, but I loved the bright green color and the spider webs on these. I just couldn’t resist! I also found some bright yellow tissue paper there on clearance for under $1! I decided to make these Boo baskets everything our neighbors would need to have a movie night in with the family.
Here’s what I tucked inside –
2- Bags of Popcorn (Pop-Secret is our favorite, and what we had in the pantry)
1- Symphony Bar ($1)
1- Box of M&Ms ($1)
1- Box of Mike & Ike Candy ($1)
You could choose any candy you’d like to put in your movie kit! There are frequent deals on DVDs too – I noticed several family-friendly Halloween selections at Target on sale for $3.99! That would make an extra fun addition if your budget allows. Now, there are SO MANY different themes you could do for your BOO basket!
Here are a few more if the Movie Night idea isn’t your cup of tea –
BOO Baking – a box of cookie mix, Halloween cookie cutters, and a bottle of festive sprinkles. BAM! A family activity everyone would enjoy!
Carmel Apples – gather some apples, some caramels, and a few toppings (M&M’s, crushed Oreos, maybe some peanuts). The perfect fall treat!
Pizza Party – a $5 gift card to Little Caesars would buy pizza for the whole family! You could include some festive plates and napkins to make it extra fun!
Well, that’s it! I hope you found some inspiration to BOO a few of your neighbors!
Do you have any Halloween traditions? I would love you to share them with me in the comments below!
