Here are additional tips and info:
MY FAVORITE HAIR GEL FOR BOYS
In case you were curious about that amazing gel I used on my boys’ hair, it’s called Gorilla Snot. Yes, you read that right. And yes, it just so happens to be the best hair gel I’ve ever used. And yes, it’s looks EXACTLY like you would expect Gorilla Snot to look.
MY HANDY HAIR BAG!!
I talked about this hair bag before, but it really is a game-changer. Read all about it HERE, but basically I keep all my kid’s hair supplies in one bag so I can throw it in the car, my diaper bag, or carry it around the house and do their hair wherever we happen to be.
PORTABLE TOTE THAT EVERYONE NEEDS
As mentioned in THIS POST as well as the video above, I’m a HUGE believer in having a basket or tote to toss stuff in and grab as you’re headed out the door. I’ve tried many kinds and have settled on baskets that are long and narrow (can fit behind the driver seat in the car) with sturdy handles. I found some collapsible ones from Costco that basically dropped straight from Heaven. (*Update: these are BACK at many Costcos! Run and grab several!). Here’s a video I did on this tote:
There are options all over for totes like this (like this cute one from Walmart). Just browse around and find one that strikes your fancy!
FREE MORNING CHORE CHART PRINTABLE!
As shown in the video, visuals for my kiddos have helped ease my morning burden. Below I’ve provided a FREE printable version of the simple Morning Chore Chart I made for my kids, in case you want it! Use a cheap laminating machine and you could have each kid mark off the chore with a dry erase marker each morning. I initially started with the chart on the TV to remind the kids “no TV until chores are done!” but now I have one on the back of each of their door, so their chores are done before they even come downstairs.

Seems like simple suggestions, but I promise even the smallest changes make the biggest difference! Don’t you think??
