  1. Great minds think alike….just got back from the thrift store myself…..sadly no 50% off but still scored some great deals. We are in Florida heading to New Hampshire this March and seriously in need of ski/snow gear but sadly didn’t find any ski/snow gear other than base layers, just way too hot here….wish I was wherever you are, you look like you scored some great items. I’m also trying ebay for the jackets/pants/gloves etc. So hard to spend $$$ on a once only snow trip with 4 kids in tow and not break the bank.

    • I kept 100% of them, and have used almost all of them already, if you can believe it! Not all the snow gear though…yet 🙂

  2. Adorable, per usual, Miss Jordan! I always go into thrift stores with my kids sizes in mind and what they need (or will need in the near future). Last time, I got a pair of BRAND NEW Keen hiking sandals for my daughter for 3 bucks and we go hiking here in CO a lot! #booya

When I thrift, I ALWAYS check out the frames. I use these for gallery walls. Just a little spray paint and good as new. I love that you can pop out ugly artwork from the 80’s and 90’s and with a little TLC (and I am NOT your typical DIY-er!), it can come to life again and actually look cute.

Another thing I love to look for is kitchen utensils. Like you always say – just wash it! I was wanting a pampered chef frosting knife spreader thingy but didn’t want to pay the $12 or whatever for it. Found one at the thrift store for a dollar!

  3. Thrifting is my cardio!😉 It always helps to know your brands and return policies (fast shopping sometimes misses defects).

  4. I got a super old copy of “Alice in Wonderland” with gorgeous illustrations for $free.99, because children get to pick out a free book when they go into an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store. That thing sells for 50 bucks online even in less-than-great condition! I know because I got home and searched for “Through the looking Glass” by the same publishers. If you’re shopping for children cruise by the book department every time you walk in there!
