How to put on fake eyelashes (…and make them look good!)

How to put on fake eyelashes (and make them look good) from FunCheapOrFree.com

Recently I posted a “Frugal Minute” tip on Instagram/Facebook talking about how I wear $5 fake eyelashes (that can be reused again and again) instead of doing expensive (and damaging) eyelash extensions.

How to put on fake eyelashes

The response for me to do a video on how to put on fake eyelashes was OVERWHELMING. So…you ask, I deliver!

The list of benefits of wearing false eyelashes vs getting extensions is about a mile long. They are inexpensive (my fav's are less than $5), you can switch up your look (thicker lashes one day, more natural the next, sparkly ones for special occasions…), and they save your lashes from the intense damage that expensive eyelash extensions can cause. I'm a fan, if you can't tell.

I made video showing you how I put on fake lashes in seconds, and how I've mastered making them look as natural as possible! Watch it online HERE or click and watch below:

See how easy that is??

Oh, and to see how I do my makeup watch my “Everyday makeup routine” tutorial and it will answer all your questions there.

Again, here are some of my favorite products to use:
Ardell Natural Lashes, Demi Wispies Black, 6-Count
Ardell LashGrip Adhesive for Strip Lashes – Dark 240466
Ardell Lash Adhesive – Lashgrip (0.25 oz tube)
Learning Resources Easy Grip Tweezers 2 Pack

Hope you enjoyed and hope you have a great day!

I was also moved to tears by your story of your sons near drowning. That took great courage to write and even more to admit. I know many were moved by your story and have since changed their ways.
Thank you for being your real true self and sharing that beautiful gift with all of us!
        Your newest BFF…FOREVER! Lol

Thanks, Jordan! That was fun, cute & helpful. I have used individual lashes before (with varying success), but the strip lashes have always intimidated me. No longer!

I learned the hard way getting lash extensions. All of my own lashes fell out within a week of getting them done! Ok, I had about three lashes per eye. I freaked as you can imagine! My dear friend came to the rescue with these falsies and I was a pro by day three. Lash extensions are not worth the cost, time or your pride. BTW, don’t get them done at a beauty school :), my first mistake.

That “muahh” looks juicy 🙂 Thanks for a great mood – I enjoyed the video! A very helpful tutorial as many women are still learning how to cherish themselves ;)) I am a big fan of falsies and I appreciate these tips for increasing my collection. 😉 I wonder why such articles do not contain any advice about taking care of your own lashes between using fake ones. It’s kind of important. I am always applying some petroleum jelly on my eyelids before sleep, or my favorite Cherish Lash serum. Why not look good in the morning even BEFORE wearing falsies! 😉

Love this blog! Mink lashes are a great alternative to the individual ones.but I really need to learn how to do these. But I love the way they look..they look very natural. I cannot wait to add these to my inventory.
