I’m a choir nerd. It’s true. I was in two different choirs in high school including a jazz group. I even won a soloist award at a jazz competition in Canada. (No really guys, I’m the most random person ever.) I love music for the feelings it can create in us.
So naturally I couldn’t help but think “The Sing Off” was the coolest show ever. My favorite group from that show, Pentatonix, did an amazing rendition of this favorite Christmas song that I’d thought I’d share, to help get you in the spirit:

Isn’t it amazing what spirit music can bring? I challenge you all to take some time this week to focus on the music you are listening to. Listen closely to the words; the message it’s sending. If it doesn’t make you want to be better, doesn’t make you feel good inside, doest inspire you to do great things in your life…GET. IT. OUT. Turn it off. Listen to something else. There is too much good music in the world to waste a single brain cell on junk. Life is too short to waste moments on things that don’t make you want to be better.
What music do you enjoy that uplifts you? Who are the artists in your life that inspire you for whatever reason? I’d love to know, so be sure to share!
P.S I’m working on a mega post about how much you should spend on Christmas but it’s taking me longer than expected so enjoy the musical interlude and check back tomorrow (hopefully) for some good stuff!
